The weapons of our warfare.

Your word «like fire, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?»(Jeremiah 23:29)  

«...I am Your battle-ax and weapons of war: by me You break the nation in pieces; and by me You destroy kingdoms » (Jeremiah 51:20) 

«You have made me to be a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth. I will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. I will winnow them, the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. But I will rejoice in the LORD and glory in the Holy One of Israel.» (Isaiah 41:15,16) 

You have put me and have told me «Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for  You have made my horn iron, and my hoofs brass. And i will beat in pieces many people, and i will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.» (Micah 4:13) 

«If anyone does attack you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is You who have created the destroyer to work havoc; no weapon forged against me will prevail, and i will refute every tongue that accuses me. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is my vindication from You, the LORD» (Isaiah 54: 15-17)

«For the weapons of my warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…» (2 Corinthians 10: 4,5) 

«You broke he arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle» (Psalm 76:4) 

«Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in my mouth, and a two-edged sword in my hand; to execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people.  He trains my hands for battle; 

 my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

 You give me your shield of victory,

 you stoop down to make me great.

 You broaden the path beneath me, 

 so that my ankles do not turn.

 I pursued my enemies and overtook them; 

 I did not turn back till they were destroyed.

 I crushed them so that they could not rise;

 they fell beneath my feet.

 You armed me with strength for battle; 

 you made my adversaries bow at my feet.

 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, 

 and I destroyed my foes.

They cried for help, but there was no one to save them- to the LORD, but He did not answer.  I beat them as fine as dust borne on the wind; I poured them out like mud in the streets. You have delivered me from the attacks of the people; You have made me the head of nations; people i did not know are subject to me. As soon as they hear me, they obey me; foreigners cringe before me. They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds. The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men You rescued me. Therefore I will praise You among the nations, O LORD; I will sing praises to Your name. He gives his king great victories; He shows unfailing kindness to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever. » (Psalm 18: 1,2,29,32-50)

«You ascended on high, leading a host of captives in your train and receiving gifts among men, even among the rebellious, that the LORD God may dwell there.» (Psalm 68:18)
