Who Can Attend the Beth Shalom Saturday School? The “Beth Shalom” Saturday School will accept children whose parents agree to follow the following rules and guidelines: Rules for Parents Rules for Students
If a student does not react to the teacher’s comments, then the teacher’s assistant can take the student outside for discussion and prayer. If the student apologizes, he/she can return to the classroom. If the child refuses to apologize, he/she must remain with the assistant until the end of the service when the parents can be notified. If a child is involved in fighting, aggressive behavior or trying to leave the building, the parents will be called immediately and the child will not be allowed to return to Saturday School for a week. If the parents refuse to pick the child up immediately, the child will be expelled from Saturday School for three weeks.
